Prayer in His presence.

Prayer in His presence.

I have talked often about prayer.

God send workers!

God send workers!

  • Prayer is conversation with God.
  • Prayer is expressing the need for workers
  • Prayer could be getting away to spend some quality time with Him.
  • Prayer could be that whisper that is yours as you approach or leave a situation.
  • Prayer could be intense intercession combined with fasting
  • Prayer could be staying until broken before Him
  • Prayer could be that daily time that is more than regiment;  rather lovely desire
    Prayer is a bridge

    Prayer is a bridge

  • Prayer is spiritual but not holier than others
  • Prayer is a bridge to the Father.  He does hear us and wants our conversation.
  • Prayer is waiting, maybe not understanding.

Praying builds hope!

Praying builds hope!

I have not arrived yet. I just know that there is a heavy anointing right now on Nancy and I.  We are humbled by this.

It reminds me of Philippians chapter four.

It says in The Message, Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray.  Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”

Pray for direction

Pray for direction

This is what I know.  I am seeing answers to prayers we prayed six months ago.  I am also waiting on other prayers I thought would be crystal clear answers by now.

Prayer is about a relationship. We are in the palm of God’s hands. He has it all figured out.

I think this is what Psalm 37:5 is about.

Commit your way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He will direct your pathway.” (NIV)

I like what my friend Chuck Girard wrote:

Lay your burden down

Lay your burden down

Lay your burden down

Lay your burden down

Take your tired mind and your troubled heart

And lay your burden down  (at the foot of the Cross)

I have not arrived yet.  Join me in the journey.

Love you so.
