Santiago-Oct. 31 to Nov. 6, 2010

We are going to a place called  Cien Fuegos,  a location where kids go to garbage dump to find things to sell for food.   Without  lunch, they can’t go to school.  We are recruiting doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and support personnel.   Linda Shuff,  a GI nurse, said of last years trip, the “experience was the best I have ever had.”  A Health Care Team has at least six areas of compassion:

  1. Triage
  2. Children
  3. Personal Interview with a doctor
  4. Community Health Education
  5. Spiritual Counseling
  6. Pharmacy
